Elizabeth K. “Betty”Ahern,53,claimed the Promise of the Resurrection, March 27,2009,after a long and courageous battle with Melanoma. Betty is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 33 years, Nelson; the two joys of her life, daughters, Katy and Lisa ;her parents ,Bernard and Elisabeth Koneck ;her brother, Robert and his wife, Sharon ;and two nephews, and Daniel. Betty spent 30 wonderful years with HCA Hospitals as a Medical Technologist. As all who knew Betty would expect, she was a fighter to the end and was blessed to be in the company of so many friends and loved ones as she departed to be with her Father with the same calm and grace as she demonstrated in life.
