Mrs. Genice Parker went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 19, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She fought a good fight with grace and unwavering faith. She was a native of Newport News, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clarence and Claytese Richardson from Halifax County, North Carolina and a sister, Shirlette. Left to cherish her loving memory is her husband, Charlie Parker of forty years; two children, Alyssa Love and Nevin parker; a son-in-law, Edward Love; three grandchildren, Tyqwan and Destiny Love, Natavia Parker; two brothers and one sister.
