CLEONA YVONNE 'BONNIE' HENDRIX BRIDGES NEWPORT NEWS - Cleona Yvonne Hendrix Bridges (Bonnie), born March 17, 1 955, passed away June 14, 2003, in the Riverside Regional Convalescent Center where she had received care for past 1 1 years. She graduated from Denbigh High School after which she worked as a secretary for the Gallaudet College, Pepsi Cola of Newport News, and then for the Noland Co. until losing her health to Multiple sclerosis. She is survived by a daughter, Christine Yvonne Caffarel and her husband, Robert and their son Robbie of LA, and stepdaughter, Millie Bridges. Also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hendrix of Newport News, Va.; her brother, Thomas E. Hendrix and his wife, Delores, and their three sons, Christopher and wife, Katey Hendrix of Savannah, Ga., Joseph and Brandon Hendrix of Newport News, Va.; her three sisters, Tammy Perry and her husband, Larry, and their two sons, Brian and Timothy of Newport News, Va., sister, Regina Strickland of Forsyth, Ga., and her three daughters, Stephanie, Mallory, and Ashley, sister, V I ,Teresa Stephens (Teri) and her husband, Rick, and their son, Ricky of Walton, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Bridges.
