HAMPTON - Judy Lawrence Robinson, 62 passed away on November 2, 2017. She was born in Suffolk, Virginia to the late Bernice Batten and Julia Jones. She graduated from Warwick High School in 1973 and would later attend and graduated from Old Dominion University and William & Mary. She was an educator for over 30 years, serving at Newport News Public Schools and Hampton Public Schools. Judy was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Hampton and Delta Sigma Theta. She is survived by her son, Devon Lawrence; daughter Kristen Lawrence; granddaughter Kayla Lawrence; grandson Jaylen Britt; sister Linda Dixon; brothers Wayne Batten and Bobby Batten (Constance) and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.
