Jeffrey aka Chet was born on January 28, 1955 in Newport News, VA to the late Dorothy and Theldon Walker. He attended Newport News Public Schools. He also was a part of The United States Marine Corps. Jeffrey's professional career span from Tenneco Newport News, Shipbuilding & Drydock as well as The Newport News Public School System. Jeffrey is survived by his daughter Tonya Powell and her mother Linda Powell both of Newport News, VA; Three grandchildren, Chanay Powell, James Powell and Devante Powell of Newport News, VA; One great granddaughter DaNayah Brown and one great-grandson Ja'Kendrik Douglas both of Newport News, Va. . Son-in-law Shawn Hall of Newport News, VA. One brother Michael W. Walker of Brooklyn, NY. Two sisters Lorraine Wingate of Norfolk, VA; and Tracie Rayford of Hampton, VA. Five nephews, (Lil)Mike Livingston of Hampton, VA; Shawn Mills of Brooklyn, NY; Antonio Brown of Hampton, VA, Jihad Rayford of Newport News, VA and Javan Rayford of Hampton, VA. One niece Tonyka Robertson, Hampton, VA. two brothers ?in-laws Mark Wingate of Norfolk, VA; and Juan Rayford of Dallas, TX. Two sister-in-laws Faye Walker of Hampton, VA; and Mary Walker of Brooklyn, NY. His close friend Bobby Dudley and Ronald Calhoun for many years. As wells as a host of family and friends.
