Robert E. Herbin, was born March 11, 1955 to the late Marion V. Langford and Robert E. Herbin, Sr. Robert was born in Newport News, Virginia and attended Huntington High School and graduated from Warwick High School.

Robert graduated from Strayer University with a Master of Education degree. He also obtained his Bachelor in Business Administration. Robert served in the United States Army. He loved to play cards with his sisters, loved to dance, loved to dress. He was a Pittsburg Steelers fan.

Robert leaves behind to cherish his memories, three brothers and five sisters, Barbara Peterson (James) of Newport News, Virginia, Dwight Herbin of Hampton, Virginia, Brenda Hargraves (Joe) of Hampton, Virginia, Alphonso Herbin (Tunisia) of Ohio, Earl Herbin of Newport News, Virginia, Tracey Royal (Julius) of Hampton, Virginia, Dietra Battle (Paul) of Hampton, Virginia and Diana Herbin of Newport News, Virginia; his step-daughter, Keshia; 10 nephews, five nieces that he loved to death.
