Sylvia Lynch Mallicott, of Newport News, Va., went to heaven on Oct. 16, 2012. She was born on Dec. 13, 1954, in Newport News, Va.
Sylvia graduated from Menchville High School in 1973 and also attended Huntington High School. Sylvia worked for the Newport News Shipbuilding Dept 053 for 24 years.
Sylvia was passionate about her faith and was a member of First Baptist Church Denbigh in Newport News, Va., and she later attended First Baptist Church Newport News.
She was preceded in death by her father, Brazzie Lynch.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Antonio Mallicot Jr., of Burkeville Va.: daughter, Audrey Clark (Kevin) of Newport News, Va.: her mother, Alma R. Lynch of Hampton, Va.; brother, Roland Lynch (Patricia Johnson) of Ithaca, N.Y.; sister, Brenda Lynch of Newport News, Va.; Jessie Clark of Newport News and Bob Fulcher (Pat).
