James Michael Goff

James "Michael" Goff passed away on January 15, 2025 in his home in Austin, Texas. Michael's early years were spent in several different states due to his father's army career. Michael was born in Albuquerque, NM on March 11, 1955, then moved with his family to Alabama, Germany, Virginia, Missouri (while his father was in Korea), Arizona, then Georgia (while his father was in Vietnam.) The family moved back to Virginia in 1966, where his father retired from the military

After graduation from Denbigh High School in Newport News, Virginia in 1973, Michael moved to Houston, Texas and became a plumber. It is there that his only child, David Goff, was born in 1981.

Through hard work and determination, Michael worked his way up to a Master Plumber. Later, he moved to the Texas hill country, where he decided to stay the remainder of his life. Spicewood, Texas became his home surrounded by his friends, co-workers at Spicewood Plumbing, and his church, Grace Outreach.

Michael loved animals, music, sushi, barbecue, bluebonnets, and the freedom of riding his Harley motorcycle. He had an infectious laugh, could tell some amazing stories, and had a tender heart for the downtrodden.
