Joyce Elaine Daniello of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away at The Rucki Hospice Care Center in Zephyrhills at the age of 75, on Friday September 15, 2023. She was surrounded by her family.
Joyce was born in Rockport, Maine on August 26, 1948, to her parents, Cecil Dennison Sr. and Mary Dennison. She was one of 4 children. She grew up attending Rockport schools and graduated from Rockport High School in 1966
Joyce was dearly devoted to her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was predeceased by her loving husband Dennis Daniello Sr., her mother and father, and her sister Carol. She is survived by; her son Dennis Daniello Jr. and his life partner Tascha Monto; her daughter Lori Witherow and her husband Jim Witherow of Windham; her 4 grandchildren whom she adored, Ashley Daniello, Nathan Daniello, Chad Witherow, and Carly Witherow. She is also survived by her sister Linda Greenlaw of Rockport and brother Cecil Dennison Jr. of Lincolnville.
Joyce loved spending time with family. She enjoyed family gatherings and vacations with her children and grandchildren. She attended many school functions for her grandchildren and was very proud of each of them. After moving to Florida, she loved having card and fire pit nights with friends from Maine as well as new friends she met there.
She worked for many years at Data General in Westbrook where she met many long-time friends, who eventually became family. She finished her working career at Woodfords Family Services in Portland, she met many dear friends while working there as well.
A memorial service will be held on October 28th at the North Deering Congregational Church, 1364 Washington Ave., Portland at 10 am.
