Carolyn Jane Snow died December 21, 2005, at her home in Branson, Missouri, following a brief battle with cancer. Her husband of 27 years, her children and her best friend of 40 years lovingly surrounded her. Carolyn was born in Seattle, Washington, February 29, 1940, to George and Virginia Snow. Sue's family immigrated from Canada to Seattle in 1951. In her years at Roosevelt, she joined both Bulletin Board Committees (ASR and GC), and she worked on the "Teddy Echo" newsletter. She married Dean Steinke (who survived her) and they lived in Granite Falls. Dean stated that she loved living in the country. She died on September 10,2003, from a long ordeal with breast cancer.

Steve Stiles passed away at his home on December 30, 2016, after a long illness. He was born on August 27, 1939, in Walla Walla, Washington to Owen and Mildred Stiles. He spent a happy childhood growing up in the Wedgewood area of Seattle, WA. He attended Roosevelt High School in Seattle where he met the love of his life, Deanna Vollan. Robert Strom passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. He fought the cancer with determination.

He was born in Seattle, August 19, 1940. At age 21, he was drafted into the Army. After boot camp at Fort Ord, he was stationed at Fort Baker near the Golden Gate Bridge. His commanding officer allowed him to go to Squaw Valley on weekends to teach skiing. In addition to the ski instructor certificate, he was the youngest certified National Ski Patroller at Steven's Pass in Seattle and very proud of it.

Michael Henry Sweeney saw things others didn't, so he spent his life trying to share his unique perceptions of the world through his artistic eye. He was 69.

Henry VANDERWEL III Born June 13,1940 in Seattle, WA passed peacefully with family at his side, on May 19, 2008. Hank was a 1958 graduate of Roosevelt High School and served in the US Navy under the 13th Navel Port of Seattle as a musician. He will be remembered as a man of strong convictions, strength of character, and honor, who taught his family the value of hard work, perseverance and heart. Henry is survived by mother Frances VanderWel of Sumner, children Virginia Passmore Bonney Lake, Kimberly Gentry, Kent, Alan VanderWel, Ron VanderWel, brother Louis VanderWel Vancouver, close cousin Frank VanderWel of Marysville, grandchildren.

Dave Wynstra passed away at home on December 1, 2020, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carole and twin daughters, Margaret of Walnut Creek, and Beth of Framingham, MA. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
