For the first time ever, both branches of the Thomas Simrak family tree – including both Sylvia and Rose’s descendants – will come together in person at the lovely Marriott at Eagle Crest Resort situated next to historic Ford Lake, in Ypsilanti, MI. This is a rare opportunity for our family, many of whom will be meeting each other for the very first time, to connect and catch up with others we've not seen in years. We'll also learn about our shared family history!

We have an enjoyable weekend of various activities planned for us all, including a Saturday evening banquet dinner with stories, games, and presentations by family historians; a Sunday morning private chartered bus tour of Wayne and homes that were built by and/or occupied by Simrak family members. We'll finish off with a Sunday afternoon Serbian themed picnic in the park, complete with games and fun activities for all ages! All events will be ADA friendly and inclusive of us all, regardless of race, gender, religion, dietary restrictions, socioeconomic status, or political affiliation.
