Garry Stephen Royce, 66, died March 12 in New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Besse Sebulsky Royce. Survived by his beloved wife, Mai Phuong and sons Steven and Michael Royce; father, Elliott Royce; brother, Jeff Royce; sisters, Judy Petel, Sandie Kaster and Cindy Royce; sister-in-law, Nancy Tellett-Royce; brothers-in-law, Yitzhak Petel, Mark Kaster, Michael Bender and Ben Pham; nieces, nephews, and grand nephews. A Minneapolis native, Garry was a gentle man who lived his life helping others and challenging himself. After the Vietnam War, he sponsored a Vietnamese refugee couple and resettled them in Minneapolis. A CPA, he moved to Tokyo for 17 years where he built an accounting practice. Garry's big smile and even bigger heart will be forever missed.
