ALLAN MILTON STRAND died at the age of 63. He resided in Laguna Niguel, CA for the past 19 years. He was preceded in death by father, Stanford and sister, Jacqueline and survived by his partner of 33 years, Christine Miller; mother, Marlys and brothers, Vernon and Everett. Allan was a gifted athlete at St. Louis Park, MN high school, a concert pianist trained at the U of M by Bernard Wieser, a local & national performer of pop & folk music and the inventor of the Dandy Putter, an innovative putter with 16 PGA tour wins including the 2000 Masters as well as other products yet to be commercialized. Above all, Allan was a sensitive person who treasured his friendships and was loved by many. He will be missed.
