Mary Fuhr

Died at the age of 50. From rural Wabasso died at Redwood Falls Hospital from injures sustained in an automobile accident.
She is survived by her husband, David of rural Wabasso; daughter, Amy Hamberger and husband Steven of Minnetonka; sons; Daniel and Jay of Wabasso, grandson, Nathaniel Thompson of Garrison, S.D.; parents, Herb and Ollie Weitz of St. Louis Park; brothers, Gary Weitz and wife Beth of Minneapolis; and Rocky Weitz and wife Terri of Chaska; and father-in-law, Myron Fuhr of Redwood Falls.
She was born to Herbert and Olivie (Eide) Weitz was born on June 9, 1949 in Oshkosh, Wis.. She moved with her family to St. Louis Park where she graduated from High School in 1967. She attended the University of Minnesota. On Feb. 27, 1972 she married David Fuhr at Westwood Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park. They lived in Sheridan Township, Redwood County. She was community education director for District 4640 at Wabasso for the past 15 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was active in her church including elder, deacon, education director, youth coordinator and choir member. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Seaforth.
