Welcome to the Event Page for the Elmsford Location of the Sofia's Smiles 5K Walk. Whether you would like to sponsor a participant, make a donation to the campaign or are signed up to walk with us on June 22nd at 1pm, we appreciate your support of Central's 5K Walk for Sofia's Smiles, we are excited to be able to get together and make a difference for so many other families in our community. Participants that register before May 19th, will receive an event t-shirt.
Please arrive to the Central Turf & Irrigation Supply, Elmsford Branch located at 5 Nepperhan Ave, Elmsford, NY 10523, 30 minutes prior to the start time to allow for enough time to check in, recieve your t-shirt and kick off the event.
If you are unable to attend the event in person, we welcome you to join us virtually! Whether it's walking in a local park, on a treadmill or around the block, all are welcome to participate. If you register prior to May 19th, an Event T-Shirt will be shipped directly to you. Don't forget to snap a photo of you and your group out on your walk!
Join us after the walk at Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. in Elmsford for food, drinks & fun! Mark & Jaime will be hosting a raffle, including prizes to participants who raise the most donations. If you cannot participate in the walk, we hope you can make it to the after-event!
ROUTE
The walking route is a mostly flat stroll along the South County Trailway. The route is mapped as a 1.5 mile out-and-back loop. Please make sure to wear comfortable footwear and dress accordingly for the weather!
PARKING
Street Parking can be found throughout the surrounding area. Make sure to adhere to all traffic laws and to check parking signs for local regulations!
