The Longest Game is a continuous, 12+ hour charity hockey game. When you register, you will be drafted to a team - The Minute Munchers or The Short Shifts.
You can play as much or as little of the game as you would like. Show up when it's convenient for you. Take breaks, leave and come back, whatever works with your schedule. Team captains will coordinate to make sure there is coverage for the whole game.
Registration for the game is $35. After covering the costs of the game, 100% of the proceeds from player registration will be donated to the Russel Hill Foundation at the Clearview Cancer Institute.
The main portion of the game is recommended 16 & older (this is flexible, we had a few higher-skill youth players as young as 12 last year).
There will be an hour dedicated to younger (6u - 10u) and lower-skill youth players. Parents are welcome to skate during this hour.
