Douglas Neal Allert, age 63, passed away at home on May 19, 2018 with family by his side. He died of complications from ALS. Doug was born in Wood River, IL to Leighton David Allert and Reba Patricia Allert.

He went to Memorial High School and furthered his education at Oklahoma State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Geology in 1979. Doug married Kimberly Ann Morris in 1986. Kim preceded him in death on June 12, 1993.

Doug married Marjorie Learn of Sapulpa, Oklahoma on February 20,1999 and together they enjoyed raising 3 children.

Doug spent much of his free time playing golf at Cedar Ridge Country Club, was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and loved nature and his OSU Cowboys. He was one of the owners of Dave Allert Company where he was President and one of the company's best sales representatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leighton "Dave" Allert and his first wife, Kim.

Doug is survived by: his mother, Reba Allert; his wife, Marjorie Allert; daughter, Elizabeth Allert; step-son, Byron Schultz of Tulsa; step-daughter, Tiffany Quinton, son-in-law, Scott Quinton and granddaughter, Callie Quinton, all of Sapulpa; as well as his brothers, Mark Allert (Linda) of Tulsa, Greg Allert (Nancy) of Broken Arrow; and sister, Rebecca Allert of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
