Terri Horner
1954-07-27 2015-06-09Terri (Hartung) Horner, a resident of Collinsville, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at her home, with family by her side.
Terri was born July 27, 1954 in Tulsa to Lonnie Baxter and Ethel "Dutch" (Craig) Hartung. She was raised and received her education in Tulsa, graduating from Memorial High School.
On October 29, 1973, Terri and Roger L. Horner, SR were united in marriage. They made their home wherever assigned in the USMC, later moving to Collinsville. Terri worked as a bank teller for American Bank of Oklahoma, has also worked at First Bank of Owasso.
She was an active member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Tulsa and enjoyed sewing, crafting with duct tape, gardening and woodcrafts. Family was always a key part of her life.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frederick Hitson. Surviving Terri is her husband, /Roger, of the home and children: Craig Horner of Tulsa; Beth Kearns of Atlanta, GA; Heather Horner of Sperry; Roger Horner, JR of Alvin, TX; Scott Horner of Missouri City, TX; Gary White of Lemoore, CA; and Kelly Roudebush of Lafayette, IN.
Also surviving Terri are eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and sisters, Gay Shellhorn and Connie /Butcher Desai; her aunt, Dorothy Craig (PCL); niece, Allyson Shellhorn of Colorado; nephew, Ben Shellhorn of North Carolina and two cousins, Kevin and Debbie Craig.
