James Givens passed away on September 29,2012 in Lafayette, LA at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. James was born February 11, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had lived in Phoenix, AZ and has lived in Sulphur, LA for the last ten years. James loved Tulsa, his home town but enjoyed his time in both Phoenix and Sulphur.
James is the brother of Wanda Williams of Sulphur, LA and is also the brother of Bill Givens of Phoenix, AZ. In addition James is survived by a loving niece, Kimberly Thomas of Sulphur, LA and a nephew, Richard Williams of Dallas, Texas. Michael "Mike" Wayne Glasby, 68 a resident of Jenks, Oklahoma received his Heavenly heart on March 22, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Saint Francis Hospital. Mike as everyone knew him, was born Nov. 15th, 1954 to Oleta Maxine and Earl Robert Glasby and older brother Gerry Glasby in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Mike grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his parents, his older brother, and next door to the Clutter family who ultimately became extended family from the moment they met. Terri (Hartung) Horner, a resident of Collinsville, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at her home, with family by her side.
Terri was born July 27, 1954 in Tulsa to Lonnie Baxter and Ethel "Dutch" (Craig) Hartung. She was raised and received her education in Tulsa, graduating from Memorial High School.
On October 29, 1973, Terri and Roger L. Horner, SR were united in marriage. They made their home wherever assigned in the USMC, later moving to Collinsville. Terri worked as a bank teller for American Bank of Oklahoma, has also worked at First Bank of Owasso.

Kathryn "Genie" Hogan Warren, 51, of Brooklyn, New York died July 13, 2007 in Brooklyn.
A native of Ingleside, Texas, Kathryn lived most of her life in the Beaumont area. She is survived by her son, Eric Warren of Brooklyn; brothers, Paul Hogan of Beaumont and James Hogan of Dallas. Genie was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Barbara Hogan. Genie was always known for her quick witted humor and sarcasm. Even though she passed well before her time, she lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by her son, brothers and large extended family. "Rest in Peace, Kat."

Patrick Alan Howell lived a life marked by hard work, curiosity, and quiet dedication. He was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on December 11, 1954.
Pat got his start in construction, framing houses, before beginning a long and accomplished career in the petroleum industry. At 25, he took a job on an offshore oil rig in Newfoundland, later spending five years on a rig 400 miles off the coast of Alaska.

Ronald Wayne Jackson was welcomed into this world on May 15, 1955, by his parents William Ray and Bonnie Ruth Jackson along with his brother, Chuck. His life’s journey began and concluded in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For a couple of Ron’s elementary years, Bill’s employment took the family to Santa Cruz, Boliva. Rob was born to Margaret and Cedric Johnson on March 7, 1955, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the oldest son of three children. His older sister is Kitty and his younger brother is Bert. He was previously married to Mia Vahlberg and they had three daughters: Darcy, Elaine and Perry. Rob was a 1973 graduate of Tulsa Memorial High School, a 1979 graduate of OSU. Marilyn Maltby (Oklahoma State '87), DVM, 63, Austin, Texas, died Sept. 23, 2018. She had practiced small animal medicine in Austin since the early 1990s. Earlier, Dr. Maltby worked in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Diane was one of my closest friends in high school and beyond, but we had lost touch in recent years. I was heartbroken to learn of her passing and was sad that more of you did not know or remember her. Strangely, I had actually been thinking of her the night before I saw the post.
