| Anything else you would like to share: After turning 20 and serving as a missionary for my church for 2 years, I studied economics and business at BYU. Definitely NOT in my life plan, but I married an angel from Sweden when I was 22 and had to pay for babies and the life we wanted. The music industry was just too unreliable. I never made much of a splash in my career (26 years at UCLA and 5 at Kaiser Permanente), but got lucky enough to land in UC's pension plan that let me jump into retirement in 2019 at 62. What a blessing. I still have my Swedish angel, plus 5 children and 3 grandchildren. I have blessings I never expected and definitely don't deserve. Sometimes things just turn out, even if it's TOTALLY different that you think 😎. | |
