John Wilson Dulin was born July 27, 1954 in Seattle, Washington and died February 9, 2006, in Edmonds, at the age of 52, following a brief and unexpected illness.
John was a loyal career employee of Bargreen-Ellingson; prior to his 26 years there he worked in hotel management in Wisconsin and Florida.
He graduated from high school in Madison, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. John loved sailing, flying, jazz and stray dogs. He read widely and loved taking car rides in the mountains. He participated in several Swiftsure sailboat races. He was interested in politics and cheered liberal causes. He was known for his honesty, his ready acceptance of everyone, his ability to speak the truth, and his loyalty to family and friends.
During the last year of his life he provided special support to his mother and continued to express constant pride and joy in his son. His family will remember his understanding heart, generous mind, ready smile, and unending stubborn streak.
