Tributes about his life include:
-I just today heard of Tim's death. I am so sorry. He was such a kind person and I have good memories of him in high school. I was glad to reconnect with him on Facebook and see that he was still the warm, thoughtful person he had been years back.
-I will always remember Tim's good nature and smile. I will miss him.
-Tim was a long time friend who I shared many great times with over the years, especially in the high school and college days. He touched a lot of lives and was a quite a unique character, and a very loyal friend. My deep sympathies to Todd and Tracy.
-I was very sorry to hear of Tim's passing. Although it has been a very long time since I last saw him, I only have fond memories of him. May he rest in peace and be remembered in all of our hearts. May God bless Tim and all of your family and friends.
-I lived down the street from Tim as a kid and he was friendly from the first time we met by the bus stop. Tim was always kind and considerate to everyone and I especially appreciated his wonderful sense of humor.

Wow, I remember Tim very well. He was so positive and likeable. I recall one time when he was wrestling and he had to lose weight so he shaved his hair off. He got the name Tim "No-hair-owetz." I fondly mentioned him many times over the years to people who wanted to lose weight--just cut your hair! Such a sad ending.
tribute by Sally SchmidtI grew up with Tim and we were really good friends right up until his unfortunate passing. We caroused "The Village" together growing up, managing somehow to avoid getting caught by the police. His family, including younger brother Todd and sister Tracy) and ours spent many hours golfing at Blackhawk Country Club and skiing at Blackhawk Ski Club -- and Tim was a really good athlete and loved the sports for the pleasure, and not for the competition. I can think of countless great times that we had together. And to this day I wish that there was something that I could have done--should have done--as Tim continued to use and abuse drugs and alcohol. He seemed to find solace in them, as they dulled the pain that he suffered from. I miss his mischievous smile, and loyal friendship..
