Mark Dwight Bell, 59, passed away after a lengthy illness on April 2, 2014. Mark was born November 14, 1954, in Ames, Iowa. He graduated from high school in Ames, Iowa. Mark moved to Texas and was a tower crane operator for 30 years. Survived by: his wife of 15 years, Kelly Bell; children, Jessica Lopez and husband Michael, Robert Graham and his wife Jenny, and Melinda Bell; grandchildren, McKinli Lopez, Autumn Graham, Kaylie Graham, Bobby Graham, and Cole Graham; parents, Mel and Jonnie Bell; 3 brothers, Tom, Lawrence, and Danny; 3 sisters, Sue Ann, Jackque, and Pam; and 1 niece and 3 nephews. Memorial service in Iowa is pending.

I was able to visit with Mark’s sister, and she had these remembrances of her brother. Mark had one daughter, Melinda, and his 90-year-old mother was determined to represent Mark at her wedding in 2021. It was a very long day, but she accomplished her goal, but regrettably died a few months later. Some of Jacque’s other memories of Mark aka: John Henry Very competitive every game he played: monopoly, cribbage, backgammon, pool and golf He loved to watch Wheel of Fortune and golf tournaments on TV Always willing to lend a helping hand Bad luck seemed to follow him Cup of Coffee (Coffee Cupper) When he called me, he started with… “Hi Jack then the main point of the phone call and he ended: ”See ya later, love you, Bye” We love you with all of our hearts and will think of you always. From his sister Jacque Bell
