David Keith Hoover, 19, 210 Westwood Drive, died Sept. 29 from injuries received in a traffic accident.

Serivices are Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Frist Christian Church with the Rev. Roy C. Key officiating. Burial is in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Born July 23, 1955, in Ames, Mr. Hoover was a 1973 graduate of Ames High School. He attended Iowa State University and was currently employed by the Universal Harvester Co. Mr. Hoover was a member of the First Federated Church in Des Moines, was active in lay witness mission work, and was lead guitarist in "Jesus is Life," a folk-rock group. He was the past president of the Ames High Key Club and past Lieutenant Governor of the Iowa-Nebraska District Key Club.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. And Mrs. James M. Hoover, 310 Westwood Drive; a brother, Dennis L. of Ankeny; grandmothers, Mrs. Mabel P. Bradley, Panora, and Mrs. Edna L. Basart, Des Moines; and an uncle, Paul Basart of Oceanside, Calif.

A memorial fund has ben established. Gifts may be left at the First National Bank.
