Harry B. Oates of Homosassa, Florida, was born on April 16, 1955 and passed away on October 26, 2020. Harry studied mechanical engineering at the University of Florida in Gainesville, and was an engineering manager at Progress Energy, Inc. Harry was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Gale, in 2019 and by his son, Kollin Ray Oates. According to Gale's obituary, "Those who know, couldn’t say 'Gale' without saying 'Harry.' The two were always together!" Both Gale and Harry's remains were cremated, and their ashes were interred in April 2022 in the Eternal Reefs at Sarasota, Florida. https://www.eternalreefs.com
