Rusty O. Purvis, Kimberling City, MO, son of Gary and Doris (Ruby) Purvis, was born July 23, 1955, in Ames, Iowa, and departed this life on March 24, 2021, at the age of 65.

Rusty permanently moved to Missouri with his family 18 years ago. Rusty served his country proudly in the United States Navy, then went on to work for the Army Corp of Engineers.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Lita Purvis of Kimberling City, MO; son, Chris Purvis of Walnut Shade, MO; daughter, Maica Robinson and husband, Cody of Surprise, AZ; two brothers, Warren Purvis of Carson City, Iowa, and Wayne Purvis and wife, Teresa of Boone, Iowa; sister, Cheryl Purvis of Reeds Spring, MO, and a host of other family and friends.

Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
