Tom had the most beautiful eyes with curly eyelashes. I'd never seen anything like that and was entranced from the start. He was one of the funniest people I have ever had the fortune to meet. His timing and delivery was so good anything he said was funny. I can still see his face and hear his voice and just makes me smile. You brought joy to many people, Tom. I miss you.

She acknowledged the "love, support and dedication" of family and friends around her that "rekindled happiness and empowered" her to grapple with the obstacles that life presented. She leaned on her Catholic faith, writing that she hoped of "graciously being accepted into His Kingdom," closing with "His will shall be done." I was thinking about Cheryl during the reunion on Saturday night and remembering the combined '73, '74, '75, '76 reunion we had at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in 2005. Cheryl went around taking pictures of classmates all night. As always, she was so excited to see you and was so full of life. That Christmas, several of us received cards from her with our picture that she took that night and a wonderful note. So sweet and so thoughtful. You were always a bright light and you are missed.

Dave Zander - April 13th, 2023
"Dombo was a dear friend of mine, very true. My visits to his place helped keep me sane when life turned rough at times. Sarcastic, funny, a bit overwhelmed, Dombo and I were simpatico. After he passed, Tom Paronto and I saw to it that his widow, Marcia, was moved to a much nicer apartment where she remained until her departure four years ago. Dave wasn't a "doctor seeker" type and I feel this contributed to his death. Guys! Feeling funny? Call your doc! I truly miss his acerbic, cutting remarks about politics...he would have had PLENTY to say about the last six years in our country... I miss you, friend...

Dave was a good man. He had a dry sense of humor and a little glint in his eye that made you think he was a couple steps ahead. Truly wish I could see you again.

Dave was my 6th grade crush. I was patrol captain that year and made sure he got the 33rd & Silver Lake Rd intersection vs the 33rd & Rankin Rd intersection so he would like me more - haha. Dave lived behind me, Benny Weiman down the street from Dave, & Barb Huso a few blocks away. We all hung around each other a lot that year. Dave was also my ride to school our Jr. & Sr. year. We were at each others weddings and Dave, Loretta , Mike and I got together a lot early in our marriages. I have so many great memories. Rest in peace.
Jean Walley - February 25th, 2023
I sure miss you Dave. Seventh through eleventh grade seemed like forever then. From our first sock hop to our senior prom when the car broke down you were there every step of the way with that smile. Back then we thought we had all the time in the world, now I wish I could talk to you again about so many things. Walking through NE just to be together and the state fair the crane game and hot dogs. Still think of you often.
