Brama, Cheryl Ann age 64, of Minneapolis, passed away unexpectedly December 18, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by father, Richard Brama. Survived by mother, Eileen Brama; siblings, Robert (Sandra), Thomas (Julianne), Lisa (John), Kathleen (Carl), Flora (Nick), Gina (Brian), Richard II (Brenna); nieces and nephews, Christopher, William, Joseph, Patrick, Timothy, Jonathan, Brittany, Thomas II, Justin, Anthony, Natalia, Benjamin, Sofia, Hannah, Ella, Danielle, Edward; eight grand- nieces and nephews. Cheryl battled a malignant brain tumor from age nine that limited her in mobility but not from pursuing a full and active life her way, graduating in 1973 from St. Anthony Village H.S. and 1977 from St. Catherine University (B.Ed.). She was an active member of the Italian Heritage Society, a parishioner and volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, a volunteer at Abbott Hospital, local elementary schools and food shelves. Cheryl helped neighbors in need with cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and organized coffee clutches at her home, Roseville Senior Apartments. Her zeal for life - gifting multitudes of snapshots, cards, food, presents and heartfelt sentiments to those she loved and those that provided her care - will be warmly remembered. She acknowledged the "love, support and dedication" of family and friends around her that "rekindled happiness and empowered" her to grapple with the obstacles that life presented. She leaned on her Catholic faith, writing that she hoped of "graciously being accepted into His Kingdom," closing with "His will shall be done." Mass of Christian Burial to be held Friday, January 10th, 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1 Lourdes Pl, Minneapolis. Visitation also to be held Thursday, January 9th from 4-8 PM with prayer service 7 PM at: Washburn-McReavy.com Northeast Chapel 612-781-6828 2901 Johnson St. N.E.
