Tom asked me to the Homecoming Dance junior year and I accepted. I will never forget the look on his face when he came to pick me when he saw the midi-skirt dress I bought for the fancy occasion! He was very much a gentleman and we had a nice time. I was so saddened to read his obituary in the paper years ago. Truly, gone too soon.
