Mobile Peete (Bradfield)

Birth Date: 1914-08-11
Deceased Date: 2006-06-10
Deborah Carter - March 5th, 2024
Mobile was the oldest child of 10 children born to Annie & Gary T Bradfield. She was a true Woman of God who was filled with laughter, had a lively sense of humor, loved to laugh & talk to to her sisters & brothers for hours on the phone. She sung in the choir at church, was President of the Missionary Society. She was well known in the neighborhood as the Avon Lady who also worked with the Block Club to help block the streets during a few Summers. She Loved her family & cooked many Delicious meals for the Holidays. We were poor but she would give her leftovers & desserts silly names that convinced us to eat them. One of her best desserts was Bread pudding which she called SHAKY Puddin'. I think of her now, I smile and realize how well she "psyched" us so that we never complained or knew we were poor! We ate it ANYWAY! Mama...You'll always Live on in my Spirit & Memories! Love...Deborah
