Most unique school memory:
All things sports: Swim team, Ms. Wivell, team mates and winning. Track, volleyball, basketball, broomball and watching football. Going to the Federal Courthouse with team mates to voice our concerns and passage of Title IX.
Mr. Allen and drivers ed and the board game class in the gym.
School dances and events and my parents chaperoning. Donny West - Mr. Blizzard and the parade during Homecoming. Chior - Mr. Antholtz, and the bus trips to Colorado, Thunder Bay and reading the Happy Hooker. Chior performing with the Minnesota Orchestra.
So many happy times with friends, just too many to post.

Favorite hobbies or pastimes?:
Watching sports. Oregon Duck fan, football and women's basketball/softball.. Trips to the coast, mountains and desert.

Have you traveled or lived in any other countries?:
Yes. Canada, Australia, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Aruba, Panama.

What have been your greatest joys, challenges, or accomplishments?:
Sports, loves, family, education, our home, health and careers.

What would people be surprised to know about you?:
I am in Who's Who among students in American Universities and Colleges.
I survived Ovarian Cancer.

Are you still in contact with any fellow classmates?:
Yes and thoroughly enjoy getting back to Minneapolis to spend time with them.

What have been your greatest joys, challenges, or accomplishments?:
A successful marriage to Clint Hoover. He is amazing. My career as a natural history conservator - that is I take care of incredible and significant objects like dinosaurs, an ancient Egyptian boat, and other scientific specimens. Always a challenge, always a joy.

What would people be surprised to know about you?:
Interesting question. Living in Pittsburgh? Developing a career that balances art and science? I am the chief conservator at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and responsible for 22 million specimens and objects.

Please share a favorite high school memory?:
Playing the mother in our senior play- Antigone. She was a character who was all about atmosphere, wandering through the scenes through, saying nothing, observing all. My kind of character!

Most unique school memory:
There are so many. I remember laying the sod for the football field in August of 1972 I think. I recall the drinking age dropped to 18 6/1/73 and several of us went to William’s to have a beer. West was so much fun and I remember being goofy and laughing a lot.

Favorite hobbies or pastimes?:
Skiing is probably my favorite and I am have taken up golf and still enjoy walking around the lakes!

Have you traveled or lived in any other countries?:
I have spent a lot of time in Mexico. I do love to travel anywhere.

What have been your greatest joys, challenges, or accomplishments?:
I love being a grandmother. It is the greatest joy and I get to act like a 2 year old again.

What would people be surprised to know about you?: I still spend my summers on Big Island.
