Most unique school memory: Finding a place for the senior class party with Dave Usher and Mark Oyaas. We got out of class to visit potential spots, and we made the most of being out of school!
Favorite hobbies or pastimes?: kayaking & canoeing, biking, hiking, reading, cooking, socializing with friends.
Have you traveled or lived in any other countries?: I have traveled to several countries, including Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Hungary, Austria, and parts of Central America.
What have been your greatest joys, challenges, or accomplishments?: Joys: my two daughters, Sarah & Mallory, and my granddaughter Georgia --(another is on the way!)
Accomplishments: finding a great life partner, raising two strong women who are happy people and good citizens, teaching middle school kids of all kinds (it's really a fun age!!) and coaching other teachers.
Challenges: surviving a brain tumor, and helping my husband survive a major heart attack he had while we were traveling in the car.
What would people be surprised to know about you?: I think people would be surprised to know how much I loved teaching middle schoolers, and how much I loved the creativity of teaching itself. I especially loved teaching alternative kids -- who came into my classroom because they were failing everything. I was half-teacher/half-mom to many of them. H
Are you still in contact with any fellow classmates?: Some through the reunion committee, others with occasional get-togethers. I always feel so fortunate to see them!
Please share a favorite high school memory?: Biking to dance line practice at Kenwood Park with Judy Romness and Colleen Spotts, organizing the HighSteppers Ball at the Minneapolis Club, and chow mein day in the lunchroom!

Have you traveled or lived in any other countries?: Have only lived in Minneapolis. Traveled to Nebraska (when my Son & his family lived there), 2 Disney Cruises with my Grandkids stopping at the Bahamas, St Tomas USVI, Tortola BI, vacationed to Texas, Oklahoma, Vegas, Aruba, Hawaii & Florida.
What have been your greatest joys, challenges, or accomplishments?: My family, having my son Tommy & having 2 stepchildren Angie & Danny. My 3 Grandkids Danny 21, Tommy 9 & Alivia 7.
What would people be surprised to know about you?: Worked & retired from the Plunkett’s Pest Control for 41 years. Starting at an exterminator then moving to the warehouse, client service department & ending in the administration dept. my Mom worked there until her passing, my Sister retired from there, my Brother will be retiring from there & my Sister-in-law Patty Lynch retired from there.
Are you still in contact with any fellow classmates?: Yes my Sister-in-law Patty Lynch, Susie Casey, Sybil & Sylvie Robinson & Sue Nordstrom.

What have been your greatest joys, challenges, or accomplishments?: Retiring from a job I had worked at for 31 years!
What would people be surprised to know about you?: I fell in love for the first time at 63 years young with my significant other! I have known him since I was around 7 years old.
