I did not keep up with Connie after high school, but saw her name on the list of deceased classmates.  We met on my first day in 4th grade at Claymont Elementary School.  Our teacher, Mrs. Hosenfelt, assigned Connie, and Susan Kovacik (who, coincidentally was to be my new next door neighbor, and has also passed away) to help me get around in my first few days.  My memory of Connie on that day and always was of a very sweet person with an infectious smile.  I was able to find her obituary and learned that she was married for many years and raised two sons.  As she continued to live in the St. Louis area, perhaps someone else knew her and can add to this.  The photo from the online obituary shows Connie with the same kind smile I remember her by.
