Comment: It’s been a fast 50 years!! It still feels like we’re only 35, but here we are approaching 70 – yikes!

I’m really looking forward to sharing “A Weekend to Remember…” remembering our days at TJ (some of us even go back to kindergarten together); remembering old friends, new friends, and those still to be made; remembering good times together (and the hard times over life that have given us a chance to learn, grow and connect even more with each other); remembering the gifts we’ve been given and more to come… remembering to make new memories every day.

I spent most of my life in Colorado and recently moved to Arizona three years ago – we are loving the sun, warm weather and palm trees. The “now” photo is from Don’s and my 40th anniversary trip last September. We’ve been truly blessed with our sons, Luke (28 years old) and Matthew (24 years old). We’ve been in the promotional products business since 1995, and now we work in sales for Halo Branded Solutions. We’re excited to retire at some point and hopefully stay as active as we can, biking, hiking, pickle-balling, traveling and volunteering… grateful for every day we are given.

Well I was fortunate enough to enter the airline industry almost right after graduating from TJ. I bounced around the country a bit, but finally ended up back in DEN with United Airlines. My 25 years in Operations was amazing; I'll always remember closing down Stapleton one day and opening DIA the next!

I've been married to a (retired) flight attendant for almost 40 years. Jill and I opened a mid-century furniture store (Mod Livin') on Colfax Ave. in the Park Hill Neighborhood, and ran it successfully for 20 years. Now we are happily relocated on the Oregon Coast where we're overseeing a collection of vacation rentals. If you ever find yourself in a place called Lincoln City please give us a shout ..... (-:
