Perry passed away peacefully on April 25, 2020, at his home in Centennial, CO. Perry was born June 20, 1956, in Denver, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sophie (Johnson) and Perry Leon Stephens. Perry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ginny Karavites Stephens. married July 4, 1976, his daughter, Secia Sophia Mischke, his son-in-law Ben Mischke, granddaughter, Frankie Elwood Mischke, and grandson Deano Perry Mischke. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sheryl and David Seligson, sister, Paula Reffault, and sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Todd Cole, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, MaryAnthi and Tom Dielmann, Karen and John Neal, Kathy and Jon Reed, Milton and Romi Karavites, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Perry was a devoted husband, father and papouli (Greek for grandfather), brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a sincere, loving, caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. He is missed by so many family members, wonderful friends, and loved ones.
Perry worked with his father for many years at Aurora Autotop and Seat Covers, and later worked for United Airlines,and also owned his own home appraising company, Perry Stephens Residential Appraising.
A private Funeral Service was held on May 4 2020 at the Assumption of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Cathedral and was streamed online.
