Bright, 55, devoted husband of Elzbieta; caring father of Douglas and Martina; cherished brother of Gregory (Julie), Victoria (Paul) Fladung, Christopher (Bryn) and the late Douglas Scott Bright; son of Jack L. Bright and the late Jeanette Sales Bright; special uncle to nieces and nephews in U.S., Poland and England.

Jeffrey's dedication to making this world a better place will not be forgotten.

Birgid Buntic left the physical world on November 19, 2018 one week after her 66th birthday. While ovarian cancer shortened her journey, her zest for life continued until her last breath.

Birgid had a thirst for learning and was always looking for the next adventure to explore. From California to Kansas to Illinois to North Carolina, Birgid was loved and admired by a diverse group of friends who will miss her wit, her unique personality, and her limitless curiosity. She was known as a "connector" and had a unique ability to introduce and connect a wide variety of people with varied backgrounds.

Patricia (Burke) Lavoy passed away peacefully at her home in L’Amble, Ontario, surrounded by her family on June 24, 2022 at the age of 70, following a lengthy illness.

Patricia Lavoy, beloved wife of Darrell, loving mother of Desiree & Timothy Dorsch of Toronto and Allison & Nick Obradovitch of Bancroft, loving grandmother of Esme and Zoey and dear sister of Sharon Mader of New Orleans.

Patricia was predeceased by her brother, Tom, and by her parents, Harry & Mary Burke.

Robert Brian Burkhardt, the funeral director who wrote the Your Funeral Guy blog, died after a heart attack on January 19, 2011. He was 58 years old.

Burkhardt was born September 19, 1952 in Berwyn, Illinois and grew up in Elmhurst, IL. He held a degree in political science from Illinois State University. He worked for nine years as a newspaper distribution manager for the Naperville Sun.

After being laid off when the company was sold in 2000, he decided to become a funeral director and minister to families in their time of need. He obtained his mortuary associates degree from Worsham College of Mortuary Science.
