Brian Van Den Bosch, 47, of Huxley died of a heart ailment Tuesday at home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames, with burial at the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Van Den Bosch was born in Mason City and had lived in Ames and Ankeny before moving to Huxley. He was the vice president of operations of Mid-America Co. and an Air Force veteran. He enjoyed golf.

He is survived by his wife, Denise; two daughters, Lori Belden of Olathe, Kan., and Jami Van Den Bosch of Des Moines; his mother, Norma Van Den Bosch of Ames; a brother, Paul of Denver, Colo; and a grandchild.

Larry Cole Wearth, 61, of Tempe, Ariz., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, surrounded by his family.

Larry was born June 15, 1954, in Ames, Iowa, to Marion “Jake” and Betty (Thorne) Wearth. He graduated in 1973 from Ames High School.

Larry worked for the Ames school system prior to moving to Tempe in 1993.

As an avid Ames High and ISU fan, Larry closely followed the Little Cyclones and ISU football, basketball, and wrestling.
