Samuel Myers, Jr. was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Carrie and Samuel Myers, Sr. (who preceded him in death). Samuel was raised by his loving step-mother, Estelle Myers (who preceded him in death).
He attended Birmingham, Alabama Public Schools. He served in the Army and fought in the Korean War.
Samuel united in holy matrimony to Sarah L. Hollis (who preceded him in death) on September 29, 1964. To this union five children were born. Samuel and Sarah relocated to Detroit, where he was employed with Great Lake Steel for years.
Samuel became a member of Greater True Vine in 1977 under the leadership of Pastor Lee M. Bernard.

DEACON ANDREW FRED KELLEY, affectionately called, "Fred" was born August 11, 1952 to the parentage of William and Earlene Kelley® in Birmingham, Alabama. He was reared in a Christian home where the biblical principles were taught. Fred also recognized Mr. George Myles as another father figure in his life.
Fred developed a relationship with God as a child and this relationship flourished More each day until his death. As a servant of God, Fred became a Deacon at Hayes Chapel Baptist Church, North Smithfield Manor under the leadership of Rev. Marvin Hubbard. He also was the church's Treasurer and assisted with youth activities.

Lillie Dunn was born on August 25, 1948 in Selma, Alabama. She was the seventh child of the late Aldrich Jemison and Julia Mae Myers. Lillie accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Earl M. Brown al the First Baptist Church in Ecorse, Michigan. Lillie joined Morning View Baptist Church under the pastorate of her uncle, Rev. Myers for 17 years. In 1994, she joined Third New Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. E. L Branch. "I greatly loved my pastor, his wife (Lanell) and the Third New Hope Family.

Walter Lee Myles, Jr. was born in Birmingham, AL, on June 28, 1955, to Walter Lee and Dorothy Ann Myles. He was affectionately called "Jug" by his family, close friends, and members of the community. Walter was reared in the East Birmingham community.
He was educated in the Birmingham Public School System. He was a 1973 graduate of Carol W. Hayes High School.
Walter spent many years of his adult life as a laborer at Stockham Valves & Fittings. In later years, he worked for Sherwin Williams Paint Company.
