Join Moore Engineering Services in celebrating our 10th annual Crabs and Cruises as we raise money for two amazing charities:
The Children's Home Society of New Jersey and Save the Children.
You are invited to our charity walk around Cooper River, the Crabs and Cruises feast following the walk, or both! Sponsorships are available to show support at the event. All proceeds raised go directly to the charities.
We chose these charities specifically because we know that the majority of the donations (50%-85%) go directly into services that benefit children and families in need. Moore Engineering Services will be matching donations up to $5,000.00.
11:15 AM: Opening ceremony.
11:30 AM: 5K Walk begins
12:00 PM: Crabs and Cruises party at Yacht Club (food and drinks provided)
12:30 PM: Charity speech and thank you
1:00 PM: Live music, games, and bounce slide
1:30 PM: Raffle drawing
2:00 PM: Sailing, kayaking, paddleboats (available all afternoon)
2:30 PM: Crab race and crafts
*Most activities are available the entire afternoon.
Save the Children is an international humanitarian organization going to areas of crisis to ensure children grow up healthy, educated, and safe.
The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey
This local charity provides services to help at-risk children and families. Their services cover behavioral and mental health services, community resources, school-based services, and early childhood and parent education services for prevention, support, childcare, referral, and treatment.
