Billy Leon Manshack was born February 2, 1962, in Lufkin, Texas to Sylvia Sue Manshack. He was raised by his mother and step-father, Lester Lavon Manshack. He attended elementary school in Lofton, Texas; later moving to Burkburnett, Texas where he graduated from Burkburnett High School in 1980. Billy worked for Laney Manufacturing Company as a welder for many years and was presently working for the Treadwell family, where he had worked for over fifteen years. On October 17, 2015, hundreds of Texomans gathered at the MPEC Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall Saturday morning for the 5th Annual Wichita Falls MDA Muscle Walk put on by the Red River Muscular Dystrophy Association.
