Beloved husband of 42 years to Georganne (nee Amon); loving father of Jeffrey Michael, Timothy William Jr., Melanie Ann and Kevin Charles; and proud grandfather to Timmy and Madeline. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Virginia. Tim was born Nov. 30, 1944 in Cleveland, OH. SCIARROTTA REV. LEE SCIARROTTA, S.M., age 74, of Dayton, died Sept. 23, 2010 at Mercy Siena Gardens. Born Aug. 10, 1936 in Cleveland, son of the late Charles and Jennie (nee Indelicato) Sciarrotta. He is survived by his brother Joseph (Janet) of Avon-on-the-Lake and his twin brother, Fr. Paul of the Cleveland Diocese as well as nephews, John-Charles (Jeanette) and Joseph (Karen); grandnephews, Jason, Jacob and Jared and grandniece Katherine. Fr. Lee entered the society of Mary and professed first vows on Sept. 8, 1955 at Marcy, NY and perpetual vows on Aug. 15, 1959 at the University of Dayton. James E. Simonis, guidance director for St. Peter Chanel High School in Bedford, was the first principal of Lake Catholic High School in Mentor.

When he was appointed principal of Lake County's first Catholic high school in 1970, Mr. Simonis became the second layman to serve as a high school principal in the Cleveland Catholic Diocese.

He held the post until becoming principal of St. Joseph High School in Cleveland in 1976. He joined the staff at St. Peter Chanel in 1988.

Alfred F. Srp, a St. Joseph High School teacher and administrator, and a World War II Army veteran, died Thursday at home. He was 74.
During his 35 years at St. Joseph, he taught biology, horticulture, math, science and typing. He also served as vice principal and disciplinarian and was inducted into the St. Joseph Hall of Fame.
Mr. Srp was born in Cleveland and graduated from John Adams High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree from John Carroll University.

Mr. Turoczy died March 7, 2011.
Born June 24, 1939, in Cleveland, he lived in Willowick before moving to Painesville 20 years ago.
He was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
