CU Boulder followed. English and Education! Took a fork in the road to a business career. Lived 10 years in California. Returned to Metro area to be with family. Married my college love, Matt. Raised two daughters and adore time with my grandson! Enjoyed so many volunteer opportunities to serve the community. Life is good! Thanks to all who organized the reunion. It was very well done.
It was great fun to catch up with all of the Slavens group, hard to believe that we went to school for 12-13 years together.
I was one of the Slavens group that spent the next 6 years at TJ. Graduated and headed to CU - Engineering school, after 2 yrs transferred to CSU to graduate in Construction Management. Worked for the family construction business for 35 yrs. Switched to work for a company that sells health insurance to the construction industry.
Married for 40 yrs, 3 children, and 2 grandchildren. My wife and I still ski the bumps, have bicycled over most of the high Colorado passes, and still hike the high country. I play handball 2-3 times a week, a game I learned my freshman year at CU.
