John Gregg Lampe passed away on May 31, from complications with diabetes. He was born to Laverne Kathrine Lampe and John M Lampe in Denver, on November 7, 1954.
John graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1972. He then received a degree in biology from Colorado College and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Tulane University.
John held various positions in the field of public health before settling in to a long career at the city of Aurora in the Traffic Operations Division
He is survived by Rhonda, his wife of 20 years, his sister Kathleen, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
John Gregg Lampe will be remembered for his commitment to public service, his genuine love of the outdoors, and his warm and caring nature. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
