Help for Lexis
By: Rachael Yeater
Lexis is our female German Shepard, and so much part of our family. She has so much love for all humans and fellow animals alike. She loves to play with other dogs, enjoys playing fetch, walks, swimming and a great belly rub.  She has had it tough her whole life, being diagnosed with anal fistula at an early age; yet the last couple months have been the hardest on her and our family.  She had come down with a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) about 2 months ago. After her antibiotics for the UTI were complete she started to lose her ability to have a bowel movement. We took her in to the vet and found out she had a megacolon and her bowel was backed up into her intestines.  We had her stay with the vet to work out what they could in her intestines and colon. That helped but only till she got backed up again. We had to take her to the Animal Hospital for another procedure. It was, again, not fully successful on the issues with her colon. We are back at square one with only a major surgery that can help with all of her issues. As of now, $4000 later, we are giving her home enemas, IV bags, to help keep her organs & muscles hydrated, b12 shots and more....along with a special diet. Nothing is truly working as we hoped, even with lots of prayers, but We are not about to give up on our dear Lexis. I feel there is help with a surgery that the Animal Hospital can do, but we are all out of funds to help Lexis. I am hoping to raise funds to help with the next possible step to save our beautifully wonderful, loving and playful dog, Lexis. With any help you can give, it is extremely helpful and we are  grateful for any bit that can be given to keep our Lexis alive for many more years.  God Bless you and we are hoping for the best.  Sincerely, Rachael Yeater                     ❤ Lexis

Animal Resource Center South Lyon
By: Nicole King
For many years we have had a dream.  A dream to create a resource center that revolved around the care of animals, and also helped to benefit our local community.   Our dream is finally coming true! We have just secured our new facility on Napier Rd, in Lyon Township.  Despite once being used as a residential home, this location has loads of potential.  The layout is superb, and it will require minimal cosmetic alterations to be functionable.   Ghe bad news is someone broke in through the side garage door and stole all the copper piping, and we now have no heat or working boiler.  Not to mention the fact that we've been killing ourselves trying to raise funds for kennels!  We are on intake hold and the animals have nowhere to go until we get everything in order    Our facility is a place the public can come to for adoptions of dogs, cats and other small animals.  We are hoping to be a resource for Animal Control, offering temporary housing or stray hold options.  We will be open for volunteers.  We will eventually offer a grooming area AND a LOW COST vaccination clinic for local residents.  Our goal is also to be a resource to the community be providing free or low-cost education about proper animal care.  We will have low-cost puppy training classes in the Spring - Fall and more! Where we need help with funding is the following; 1.  We need approximately 12-14 Sani-Kennels, to comply with the Dept. of Agriculture requirements.  Each kennel costs about $1,200, as they are 4 sided and have a bottom.  This prevents having to worry about proper drainage, putting in non-porous flooring, etc.  They are easy to put in, easy to take out, and they lock, to prevent the public from letting out animals, and from possible bite incidents.   2. We need 5 foot high fencing surrounding the facility, approximately $4,000.  We also need a quarantine area.   3. Landscaping needs to be pulled out, as the space sat vacant for 2 years.  $1,000 4. Boiler work:  $5000+ 5. Proper flooring in main staging area.  $2,500 6. We need metal cages for smaller animals.  $6,000 Want to be a sponsor?   We will be offering the following sponsorship options:  (All donations are 100% tax deductible!) Platinum Business Sponsor:  (1 available) $10,000+ donation.   Platinum sponsor will be co-advertised in all of our marketing efforts for a period of no less than 12 months.  Platinum sponsor also gets to cut the ribbon at our grand opening!  You will be the VIP guest at our opening party.  You will also be recognized on our "Thanks To" wall at the entry of our facility, to forever thank you for your support. Gold Sponsor:  (12 available) $2,500+ donation  Gold sponsors will be able to reserve a kennel in the name of a loved one.  Kennels will have an affixed plaque that will read, "Donated by ---, in memory of ---".  The donated kennels will be forever dedicated in memory of whomever you choose.  You will be VIP guests at our opening party. You will be honored on our "Thanks To" wall at the entry of our faculty, thanking you for your support.   Silver Sponsor:  (20 available) $500+ donation  You will be invited to our opening party after ribbon cutting.  You will also be on our wall of thanks eternally.   Bronze Sponsor:  (Unlimited) $100+ donation  You will receive a T-Shirt showing your support, and will also get to name one new incoming animal per month, for 12 months.   We are so excited to get things rolling, and hope you will support us on our mission to save more lives by rescuing as well as educating!

What Our Clients Say

We are launching our inaugural event to raise funds for water purification systems to be placed in third world villages. I needed a website built on top of a platform well suited for ticket sales and donations. After reviewing several SaaS providers, I chose MyEvent.com. Rob is a pleasure to work with and has a team that is responsive and inventive. I'll be using MyEvent for the many years to come.
