Refuge communautaire Tanzanie
By: Stephanie Joncheray
Me voilà face à une réalité : LE FINANCEMENT. Stéphanie et Japhet   Fundraising - Adventure KatiKa MoYo Community & Humanitarian Shelter  - SHARE & Love / KatiKa MoYo  My dear friends, I appeal today to your generosity to help us, Japheth and I, to finance and build a refuge of community and humanitarian life in Tanzania. Many of you, already follow me and know my projects, observe my adventures, my actions and my many displacements towards Tanzania... I am asking for your help, because the demonstration of the project is just at the door. Here I am facing a reality: FUNDS. My mission is very anchored and it propels me out of my comfort zone to ask for your help. Advised and supported by many of my friends, I made the decision to start this humanitarian adventure. I believe in love and sharing, and the strength of numbers. The target is $ 25,000 by March 31, 2018. Knowing that there are no small amounts, every $20 or $30 of each of you are enough when the number is reached. The needs are very high and by sharing widely, the project can emerge more quickly. I will leave again soon, to buy the land, to start building and establishing this wonderful humanitarian and community plan. PLAN Buy a land and begin construction of the shelter made up of several living spaces. I wish to inform you that I personally finance all my trips to Tanzania, as well as our personal needs. Your donations will be used directly to finance the project. You can follow me regularly on FB and live with us the steps and evolution of the shelter.   PROJECT Japhet, already in Tanzania and myself, are going to build a community shelter to welcome street children as well as volunteers willing to participate in this human experience with children. A house filled with love, support and mutual help. A space where ecological, humanitarian and educational projects will be put forward! SHARE & LOVE / KatiKa MoYo Community and Humanitarian Shelter The community shelter will become a place where adventurers and travelers can stop to live, observe and participate in many activities. Concretely: cooking, gardening, teaching, exploring, playing with children, participating in their education, living their daily lives, which is a different reality. Among the activities, we will also offer yoga and morning meditation sessions to allow a better quality of life. In addition, visitors' stays will help to learn and live the culture and customs of Tanzania. An opportunity to exchange and deliver lessons to children and help them in their different daily needs, in terms of health, education, material needs and spirituality. For the love of children, for the love of sharing, give generously and especially do not hesitate to share. As soon as your donation is done, write me a comment, here or in private, and it will be a pleasure to thank you personally and inform you about the development of the project. Thank you very much to all of you for the demonstration of your support. Your generosity gesture touches us deeply. Stephanie and Japhet

Medical Volunteer Work in Malawi, Africa
By: Caitlin Troughton
Dear Family and Friends, Hello! I hope that you are doing well. Currently, I am living at home,  working at Bin 4 as a hostess, finishing up Chemistry 12 online, finishing my First Aid and CPR C course, applying to Camosun College for the following year, and preparing for my 6 month trip to Malawi, Africa. In January I will be volunteering through Latitude in a health clinic and rural community. This new year offers me an exciting opportunity to travel and volunteer abroad. I am nervous but overall quite excited! Through Lattitude Global Volunteering I’ll be going on a trip to Malawi, Africa from January to July 2018. I will be placed in a home with one other volunteer, and working in the nearby clinic. The clinic will have me weighing babies, assisting with childbirth, providing immunization shots, etc... I also hope to have the chance to spend some time in their church, with the aspiration of starting a choir.  My goal is to learn and experience a new culture, to assist in providing education and health benefits to people on a daily basis and to build new relationships.   This project gives children, women, men, families, and communities a sense of hope and happiness for a brighter future. My challenge before leaving is to raise funds to make this possible. I would personally like to raise $3,000. I am currently organizing a Malawian-themed dinner party and, hopefully, a benefit concert! Lattitude Global Volunteering has recommended a budget of $8,000: cost of company placement, immunizations, plane ticket, amenities, clothes, and food. This is not a luxury trip; I am breaking away from the narrow path of being solely a ‘tourist’ by giving back to the local community. I will work with children, women, men, families, and communities, sharing their food and their lives. It is an important opportunity for me to share my time, passion, and energy. I also expect to learn much about myself, Malawi, and what I can do to help further. I see this experience as a way for me to learn about myself, the world, my future, at the same time as helping the communities in Malawi, Africa. I hope that you will consider joining my efforts by investing in me and supporting my Latitude volunteering trip! Any amount will be a great help. If a financial donation is not suitable, please contact me about other options such as school supplies, feminine hygiene, sports equipment...that I may bring to the community. Thank you! Please do not hesitate to ask for more information, and I hope to have a blog while I am there to keep everyone at home updated. Sincerely yours, Caitlin Troughton Thank you for getting involved! I greatly appreciate every smile, prayer, and penny. Together, we can make this a life changing journey!

Help The Rapid Relief Team Continue To Bring Hope To The Hurricane Harvey Victims!
By: Joyce Wootten
The Rapid Relief Team USA, is doing a fundraiser to generate funds for the needs currently arising from RRT initiatives, involving the Hurricane Harvey Relief and other RRT Relief Efforts. Hurricane Harvey is a great example of why funds are needed by the Rapid Relief Team, to be able to meet human relief efforts of those facing damage in other situations.      On Sunday, August 27, the Rapid Relief Team from San Antonio, Texas, drove to Ingleside, where they handed out hundreds of refreshment pails to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Each pail included water bottles, bags of chips, granola bars, trash bags, and a bar of soap.      RRT was grateful for the opportunity to show their support and compassion to these victims and their families, and with your help, they would like to do even more!      RRT San Antonio is preparing to drive to Houston, where they hope to distribute thousands of refreshment pails to those in need! These pails will include items such as water bottles, hand sanitizer, refreshments, and even a surprise for the kids!      Please show your support today, and help make it possible for the Rapid Relief Team to continue taking hope to the Hurricane Harvey Victims!          Please mail check and cash donations to: Rapid Relief Team LLC 959 Lake Road, Medina OH 44256         The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) is a single member LLC of The Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC). PBCC is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions to RRT, by US Residents, are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Viera Wetlands Volunteer Program
By: Raleigh Berry
The Viera Wetlands face unique funding challenges because they are neither a park nor a nature preserve, but are a constructed treatment system designed to polish effluent from the adjacent water reclamation facility. Because of this, public sector funding of the wetlands is limited to their designed wastewater treatment function.  The Viera Wetlands Volunteer Program was created to address these challenges. Volunteers assist in habitat management, wildlife monitoring, road maintenance, controlling the growth of invasive vegetation, tending the butterfly garden, repairing kiosks and the lakeside gazebo, providing tours, addressing public safety and site security concerns, and a host of other activities. Collectively, volunteers annually contribute approximately 3000 hours of service. Their efforts are essential in providing continued public access to the wetlands. Your donations will be used for    Road Maintenance - to maintain, repair, patch and manage the berm roads Habitatt Management - to control invasive vegetation in and around the wetlands Volunteer Program Support - to provide volunteers with safety gear, tools, training, outreach supplies, etc. Upkeep Materials - to repair and maintain kiosks, access ramps, railings, etc.   The Viera Wetlands Volunteer Program operates within the framework of Brevard County's B.R.A.V.E program, and is overseen by the Natural Resources Management Department. The Brevard County Board of County Commissioners appreciate your donation in support of the Viera Wetlands, consisting of the Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands and nearby Storage Ponds, and the volunteers who serve there.  No goods or services are provided in exchange for your contribution.

What Our Clients Say

H2OpenDoors

We are launching our inaugural event to raise funds for water purification systems to be placed in third world villages. I needed a website built on top of a platform well suited for ticket sales and donations. After reviewing several SaaS providers, I chose MyEvent.com. Rob is a pleasure to work with and has a team that is responsive and inventive. I'll be using MyEvent for the many years to come.
