Don was born and raised in Saskatoon and graduated from Bedford Road Collegiate in 1959. In 1963, he married Marcia Churchill and together they raised three children. Don began his teaching career in La Loche in 1967, and taught in Buffalo Narrows from 1968 to 1973. During these years he also established McLeod Trail Ltd.- a fly-in hunting and fishing business that brought him much enjoyment over many decades.

The death of Norman Selby Ogle, age 24 years, of New Westminster, BC, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Selby Ogle of Saskatoon, occurred in a canoeing accident near Hope, BC on April 28, 1974.

Harold, born in Saskatoon, attended Caswell Public School and Bedford Road Collegiate, and was a long-time resident of Montgomery Place prior to moving to Calgary. In 1942 Harold joined the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve and served the next 3 1/2 years assigned to the minesweeper "Mulgrave". He was recently awarded the French Legion of Honor Medal for his active part at Omaha Beach on D-Day.
